How do I learn more about computer technology?
I am more computer savvy than the average 27 year-old. I’m really good with all Microsoft Office products. But I want to know more about the behind-the-scenes… I want to know about how computers really work, how software works, how to create a website from scratch. I know how to do most things because most programs are user-friendly. But I’d like to know how to use things like Frontpage, java, wordpress? I have so many questions and I have no idea where to start from.

Best way if you are computer say is to pick a topic, get a book or some training videos and just go through it step by step. That’s the way we all learned. It helps if you have a specific project in mind so you can focus on the technologies you need to know. I’d start with Wordpress for web sites.

Your enthusiasim is showing and that is greta. I would suggest that you start with the basics, a book or e-book on building your own computer, and how hardware works, then move on to the next topis.
It takes time to gather the knowledge, (I have been doing this for over 25 years) and I am still learning.
If you are really interested, take a course at your local college on something like PC repair.
