Computer Technology Question who is more advanced Japan or USA?
My friends disagree that the US has better computer technology than japan.
reason i say is because all of the big computer names, and brands are american.
ie. IBM,Intel,AMD,EVGA/Nvidea/ATI etc..
and i dont know alot of japanese brands.
i do know that they made dvd and blu-ray ….

Japan definetly, they have cell phones that can tell you if your breath smells bad. They’re not far from having humaoid robots in their labor force, and alot of computers are actually designed in japan.

Japan has superior technology than USA, especially in implementing these technologies.
The reason why the big companies are present in the US is because the states has the money, marketing power and international presence.
However even if these companies you mentioned are american, they still manufacture their products mainly in japan and asian countries.
Even as a society, technologically speaking Japan is years ahead of america. They have more technology in their toasters than in the average american car..
