As far as better computer technology that is inaccurate also. America has always maintained a lead in computer systems.
Russian weapons were technologically inferrior to their American counterparts in many ways. To compensate for this the USSR built more. When contrasting the supriority of Western items and processes to their Soviet counterparts Stalin said it best, “Quantity has it’s own Quality”.
