Hey.
I’ve read many books that had the same question.
First of, you have to know that computer technology and ‘fast food’ grew up together, in the 40′s, while Mr. ? was “giving birth” to McDonald’s and Walt Disney to his multimillionaire corporation, technology was rapidly changing, and as the new highways were opening, people started using their cars more.
In those years, the big corporations were just about the “grown ups”,but then they started thinking about the “power” a children has over their parents deciding were to eat; so many restaurants were eager to manipulate or simply help the kids get what they want, cheap and easy to get, as the fast food is.
In this days, computers are being widely used by those same corporations, putting their ads in some of the most visited websites in the world, and for children, some like the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney and so on.
The internet is now as easy to get as a Big Mac and by that i mean, people are using it more.
Now, computer software is now the main resource to get a better understanding of what their product is gonna taste like, or look like.
look at a Mc Donald’s, everything is controlled by a machine, you push buttons to get the frozen patty and push some more to heat it.Everything created by computer technology.
Now you know that food and computer technology are in their 60′s and still are friends.
