An advantage would be that test results and other paitent inforamation is more oganized and instantly accessible. Also, the diagnostic instruments help with determining the paitents condition.
Disadvantages would be that the nurses spend less time with the patients and put too much trust in the equipment when all they have to do is touch the patient to feel out they have a fever.
Too much reliance on technology can also cause nurses to miss or forget to take important vital signs like the radial pulse.
