I don’t want to be replaced by an anesthesia-administering computer?
I want to become an anesthesiologist (I’m currently in senior year), but I’m afraid that my job will no longer be necessary once computer technology has advanced to the point where computers can administer anesthesia. Thanks for anyone who can help address my fears.
Emily-Yeah, I’d be alot more comfortable with a human than a machine; but machines are cheaper in the long run for hospitals; I guess if something abnormal happens you could do something like: If X Problem, administer Y.
