Learning computer technology?
I didnt go to a school that taught computer skills very well, just your basic skills like typing, powerpoint and excel. Id like to learn what computer programmers know, or the people who can upgrade, repair, build and program computers. It seems like a cool thing to learn, however I dont have the money for school. So what are some really good books or even possible programs that I could get so that I can learn.
Also, if I learn alot about computers, is there a certification that I can go for and earn without college, one that would actually help me land a job if I should ever want to go that route? Right now I **** badly with computers, but they do interest me, and Id like to learn alot about them. Thanks for any help.
