Community colleges do have websites. Look up your local community college on google and click on their site to get info on how to enroll. I believe it’s under Prospective Students.
You can go into computer science since you’re interested in computers.
Marketing Strategies
Bummer to not have active support from your family, but since you know that, you are doing the right thing to take charge of making good decisions. Surely there are a couple teachers (a minister, a coach, a boss?) who know you well enough to offer advice? Don’t be afraid to ask them how they view you: what they see as your strengths and what they might suggest.
The list of career possibilities is limitless. Realistically, nearly all jobs involved computers now so that might be a start but don’t neglect other ideas too.
If you are inclined toward design, maybe printing and digital pre-press technology. Do you like geography, maps, travel? Maybe GIS Graphic Information Processing. Intrigued by media? Try Telecommunications. Do you like numbers? Accounting? Do you like working with people? Teaching? Coaching? Business Management?
Don’t stress if you aren’t totally sure, because your first year is mostly general electives anyway. But perhaps this gives you a starting point for other possibilities that tie to your interests. Good luck!
