Do I have any say in where I would like to be stationed in the US armed forces?
I would like to join the Navy within the next few months, and pursue a career in computer technology. For this and other reasons, I would like to be stationed in Japan (where I intend to follow my career) so that I may learn more about it’s cultures and pick up the language better before I decide to live there.
Is it possible for me to choose this path, or do they simply ship out whoever wherever with no discrepancies?
