i do not know what i want to do for a career. i like computers technology can i get some help?
i personally love computers and cellphones etc mostly computers
i repair my computer by myself never ever paiud anyone to repair it ..
but you see its like i want to do what i love and make good money cuz i see people who are hair sylists and they love doing hair and yet .. they do not get paid more than 15 dollars an hour
i do not want to be like that i guess i would say is that i want to be a computer technician and i KNOW I CAN DO IT
but i do not know what the benefits are like pay or security
i know how it is for a lot of people who know what they are doing they know better than most people do .. even more than people with degrees like my mother she does accounting and she has been in it for about 20 years.. but she recently tried to apply for a job at an old company and they told her she does not qualify because she does not have a degree
i do not want to be like that .. i guess im more worried about being okay in life because as a child and teen i have moved from california to as far as Connecticut and i don’t ever want to have to do that because of financial frustration .. so if this field is not going to provide that i would rather be a sheet metal worker and doing something i **** and be good with money that doing something i love and get nothing or close to nothing
but i do want to be a pc tech so my question is .. what are the benefits? what kind of situations do you encounter?
( this just happened yesterday .. my computer started freezinf really bad and i would have to restart it and after 10 mins it would freeze and “chirp” like a whining chirp so i finally opened the computer to find what the chirping is from and i thought it was from my processor so i took the sync off and the thermal paste was dirty i thought it was that so i dusted it off and put it back in and restarted it booted fine and started windows fine but then again chirp chirp chirp so i opened it again and realized it was my slave drive so i simply disconnected it and started my computer then it said primary drive not found(although it is the slave) i turned off my computer and reconnected it and bam problem solved )
this is what i like to do … it only took me about 30 mins and it feels good when i know I and the one who fixed it not someone else
what certificates should i get for a computer tech a+ and c++ what exactly is C++?? any other certifications needed? does it matter where i get them? and i do not want to go to itt tech please anyone help
ps my dad is a precision sheet metal mechanic and he get about 35 an hour and he always offers me help to get a job there but i say nay cuz i dont know how it is
and we always moved cuz of him thats why i do not like being around him but that is another story
