I’m working on a bachelors in viola performance from the New England Conservatory, but I have no idea what a music technology degree entails, however it sounds interesting for graduate study because I’m interested in technology as well as music…any information would be appreciated, I’m trying to research it…thanks!

I’m currently a music composition major. Composing, arranging, and performing music has always been my passion. However the music industry is very competitive and I am planning to double major so I will have a back up plan to fall on. What would be a good degree that can help with a music career as well as give other necessary skills for the real world. Btw… I **** finance, accounting, and any major related to money management. I was thinking some sort of degree that allows me to understand computer technology. Any suggestions?
